Belgium, France, and Switzerland


About the Program

This Studies Abroad integrated educational experience helps students gain an understanding of the ways that business is conducted outside the U.S as well as an appreciation of the economic, political/legal, socio/cultural and competitive factors at work in today’s global environment.  This course helps provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to push ahead as successful managers in today’s global workplace.  Students attend guest lectures and visit production facilities of organizations abroad.


This program will take place in Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France; and Montreux, Geneva, and Zurich, Switzerland. Itinerary may include visits to:
  • Historical/Business insights into Belgium, France and Switzerland
  • Seine River Boat Cruise
  • Corporate visits and cultural experiences including:
    • EU Parlamentarium
    • Cailler Chocolates
    • Gruyère Cheese Production Facility


You can earn 3 or 6 credits while abroad! The courses offered in this program are:

BUSA 4500 - Studies Abroad
MKTG 4500 - Studies Abroad



This program goes for two weeks during the summer.


*The following is a sample itinerary.
Day 1: Depart Atlanta for Brussels, Belgium
Day 2: Morning arrival in Brussels. Motorcoach transfer to Antwerp. Historical/business insights into Belgium. Overnight in Antwerp.

Day 3: Corporate visit. Overnight in Antwerp.

Day 4: Morning corporate visit. Departure on Thalys bullet train for Paris. Historical/business insights into France. Overnight in Paris.

Days 5 & 6: Free time for cultural experiences. Bateaux Mouches excursion. Overnight in Paris.

Day 7: Corporate visit. Overnight in Paris.

Day 8: Departure on TGV bullet train for Lausanne, Switzerland. Motorcoach transfer to Montreux. Historical/ business insights into Switzerland. Overnight in Montreux,

Day 9: Corporate visits. Overnight in Montreux.

Day 10: Morning departure full-day Swiss Cultural Experience,
traveling through the Alps for final destination of Zurich. Visits
to La Maison du Gruyere cheese production facility and Cailler chocolates. Overnight in Zurich.

Day 11: Corporate visit. Overnight in Zurich.

Day 12: Free day for cultural experiences. Farewell Dinner. Overnight in Zurich.

Day 13: Depart Zurich for Atlanta.

GGC tuition and fees are NOT included. Those must be paid before departure and must meet GGC deadlines for tuition and fee payments. 
Students must adhere to payment and withdrawal deadlines for tuition, fees and travel costs.

If it is necessary to cancel the program before the start date, a full refund will be granted.
